Age
Getting a spot on a WorldTour team isn't for free, you have to earn it. When you're young, you got to have potential to be on a team. Who are the youngest and oldest riders on a Women's World Tour team this season? In chart 3 we have plotted the number of riders per age. From this we see no real peak age, but most of the riders are between age 21 and 31.

Height
Just for the fun of it we looked at who are the tallest riders in the WorldTour. Five out of the 10 riders in the top-10 are from the Netherlands. The tallest riders are Evy Kuijpers and Teniel Campbell. On the other side of the chart it is Gaia Realini, with only 1.50 meters, who is the shortest rider on a WorldTour women's team.
Nations
Italy and the Netherlands are the major countries by number of riders on a WorldTour team. From the 236 riders making up the WorldTour rosters, 54 riders are hailing from the Netherlands and 32 from Italy. The most international team is team UAE with 11 nationalities.

Experience
Finally we looked for the most experienced and the least experienced riders. We charted the total number of racedays on the road per rider. With 777 racedays, over 2 years of racing, Ellen van Dijk tops the list before Tiffany Cromwell with 767 racedays. The opposite statistic shows that Dutch cyclocross national champion Puck Pieterse has only three racedays on the road so far.
We hope you enjoyed these statistics. Also in 2024 ProCyclingStats will bring you inside statistics about the women's peloton and races.
