A period of 90 days without WorldTour racing comes to an end when the season starts tomorrow in Australia for the men's peloton. We have assembled the same statistics for the men as we did for the women's peloton. How well do you know the peloton?
Age
The Benjamin of the peloton this year is Andrew August who comes straight out of the junior peloton, as do Markel Beloki and Theodor Storm. More than twice their age is Cameron Wurf, with age over 40 and also on team INEOS. He sure can teach the young guns a thing or two.

Experience
It will take a long time for Markel Beloki to come to the same number of UCI racedays as Mark Cavendish. The Manx Missile has 1286 racedays to his name, which is over 3.5 years of racing. Something remarkable, 5 riders in the top-12 are from the Netherlands.
