In the first stage of the 2024 Arden Challenge, a horse ran onto the road and started chasing a big group of riders. Lars Daniels, who was at the back of the group, did not hesitate and grabbed the horse's reins, slowly stopping the animal. After the race, Daniels said he grew up around horses, so he felt comfortable to take immediate action.
