Key events can be any memorable event, for example an impressive victory but also a major crash, bold solo or anything that makes for sporting memories.
Description
At the end of stage 1a to Charleroi of the Tour de France 1975, Dutch rider Joop Zoetemelk was the first rider to receive the polkadot jersey as leader in the mountain classification. The white jersey with the bright red dots was considered to be a 'clowns jersey' by the riders. The design of the jersey was inspired by the packaging of chocolates produced by sponsor Chocolat Poulain.
