In a field of 32 starters, this edition of Paris–Roubaix was raced behind small motorcycles. Early in the race, Albert Champion launched an attack and reached Amiens with less than a minute’s lead. By the finish in Roubaix, however, he had extended his advantage to over 23 minutes, taking a dominant victory.
