In Stage 19 of the Giro d Italia 2016 Steven Kruijswijk rides into a wall of snow in the descent of the climb to Col Agnel . At the finishline he lost 4:54 minutes to Vincenzo Nibali who also won the stage. Esteban Chaves took over the pink jersey.
